Line Installation 10/22/25

This is a photograph I took in my drawing class at Texas State. During this lesson we learned about installations, and how the goal is to transform a place or environment into an artistic space. We were also studying the use of line and how it’s used in installations. This was a line installation my team built in class that day. It reminded of me of the installation study we did in Core II, except rather than focusing on the use of color, we were more focused on line. Our goal was to create a more curvy/wavy environment. I think our installation turned out very light and flowy. Everything feels connected and seems like their flowing into each other. I think it helps that all the materials are light colored as well, adding to the light or soft energy. Overall, I’m happy with how the piece turned out, and I believe it was very visually interesting.
