Color Installation 10/8/25

In this photograph, my goal was to explore how different colors interacts with each other, especially when intentionally placed. I wanted the colors to contrast from one another, creating a visual pop. I also wanted the objects to compare and contrast. I did this by photographing two of the same animal, yet they completely differ in shape, size, and color. I wanted to create an intriguing image, and I believe I achieved that with this photo. I think the bigger, yellow pig creates a nice, somewhat neutral background for the little, bright purple pig to really pop and be more of a focal piece. I also think that the objects being two of the same animal contributes to the picture being more interesting as well, rather than using two objects that have nothing in common with each other. It feels like there’s more of a relationship because of this. Overall, I think I reached my goal with this photograph for creating an interesting piece with the use of color, scale, and content.
